About the role
We are seeking a high-impact sales-focused business development professional with deep experience in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly within the U.S. SME&C segment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong Microsoft sales background who understands how to drive revenue through Microsoft field engagement, GTM execution, and channel acceleration.
What you'll do
Drive Microsoft-Aligned Sales Strategy
  • Build, implement, and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with Nerdio's business objectives for Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Intune.
  • Focus on creating repeatable motions that accelerate customer acquisition and lead generation through Microsoft.

Engage Microsoft Field Sellers Across Enterprise & SME&C
  • Build structured, scalable engagement models for Microsoft's Enterprise and SME&C industry sellers, field leadership, marketing teams, and partner organizations.
  • Deep understanding of how Microsoft SME&C teams operate in the U.S. is critical for success.

Develop High-Value Microsoft Sales & GTM Relationships
  • Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with Microsoft sales and GTM leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with Microsoft account teams to drive pipeline creation and influence deal progression.

Leverage the Microsoft Channel & Partner Programs
  • Understand and maximize Microsoft partner incentives, co-sell programs, and marketplace opportunities.
  • Identify joint sales and GTM motions that expand Nerdio's presence within the Microsoft channel ecosystem.

Evangelize Nerdio Within Microsoft
  • Act as a strong evangelist for the Nerdio value proposition to Microsoft field teams, category owners, and partner organizations.
  • Deliver enablement sessions, drive readiness, and ensure Microsoft sellers understand when and how to bring Nerdio into customer conversations.

Own Sales & GTM Impact Reporting
  • Track, measure, and report the performance of all Microsoft-related sales and GTM initiatives.
  • Lead joint QBR discussions with Microsoft to communicate progress, impact, and future opportunities.

Enable & Accelerate Internal Sales Success
  • Partner with Nerdio's sales leadership team to coach, activate, and accelerate Microsoft engagement across the broader sales organization.
  • Foster alignment and collaboration between Nerdio sellers, Microsoft field teams, and channel partners.

Represent Nerdio at Key Microsoft Events
  • Attend major Microsoft in-person events to build relationships, expand Nerdio's presence, and stay current with Microsoft priorities.

Promote Nerdio's Success Across the Ecosystem
  • Communicate wins, success stories, and impact to amplify Nerdio's value within Microsoft and the broader channel.

Identify New Partnership Opportunities
  • Identify priority Microsoft partners (services, ISVs, distributors, and industry specialists) that align with Nerdio's growth objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and Microsoft market dynamics to drive innovation and new revenue opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in engaging, developing and managing Microsoft across Enterprise, SME&C, Marketing and Partner environments.
  • A passionate, entrepreneurial, self-starter with a minimum of 5-7 years experience in sales roles, selling cloud computing, IT services, or software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions with a proven track record of success in sales, including meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, and related virtualization technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities that align with organizational goals.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive partnerships with external organizations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive them to successful completion in a high-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy and can-do attitude with the ability to find the solution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve common goals.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for managing sales pipelines and tracking performance.
