Job Summary

Responsible for prospecting and running presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Core Payments Relationship Manager (RM) you will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director. Activities include explaining our value proposition and demonstrating our Payments Platform, upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager.

Job Duties

Your role as a Core Payments RM is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.

During the training period, your District Manager will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting new clients.

  • Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.

  • Responsible for achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota.

  • Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry, to remain up-to-date.

  • Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with your leader.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
