Job Title: Sr. Medical Device Sales Executive
Job Description:
As the Sr. Medical Device Sales Executive in the medical device industry, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and maximizing profitability through strategic sales initiatives and effective leadership. Leveraging your expertise in medical device sales, market development, and customer relationship management, you will lead a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets, exceed customer expectations, and capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and programs to achieve revenue targets, increase market penetration, and drive sales performance across key customer segments and geographic regions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales objectives with overall business goals, product development plans, and marketing initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a results-driven sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals, foster a culture of excellence, and promote professional growth and development. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to optimize sales effectiveness and productivity.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, distributors, group purchasing organizations, and other strategic partners to enhance brand awareness, promote product adoption, and drive customer loyalty and advocacy. Identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends to inform product positioning, pricing strategies, and sales tactics.
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new business opportunities, evaluate market dynamics, and assess competitive threats and challenges. Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and reimbursement policies to anticipate market shifts and capitalize on emerging trends.
Sales Forecasting and Performance Measurement: Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to track progress against sales objectives, evaluate sales pipeline opportunities, and assess sales team performance. Implement sales analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into sales performance, market trends, and customer insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in medical device sales, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth, building high-performance sales teams, and exceeding revenue targets.
