Job description

Overview

Responsibilities include supplier spend and bid analysis, contract and term review, project tracking, supplier research, and collaboration on reports and presentations. The role partners with vendors and internal stakeholders to support procurement operations, including Workday activities such as PO enrichment, invoice match resolution, PO and requisition closures, catalog maintenance, and related support requests, and works crossfunctionally with IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations, and Sprouts vendor partners.

Position reports into the Store Support Office in Phoenix. Hybrid schedule Tuesday-Thursday.

Essential Functions

Procurement Operations & Systems Support

  • Support procurement operations in Workday, including PO enrichment, purchase order maintenance and change orders
  • Assist with invoice match resolution, researching discrepancies and coordinating with vendors and internal partners
  • Execute PO and requisition closures in alignment with procurement controls and audit requirements
  • Support Workday catalog maintenance, including item updates, pricing changes, and supplier content
  • Manage procurement-related support requests and operational inquiries

Procurement & Supplier Support

  • Analyze supplier spend, bids, and pricing to support sourcing and negotiation activities
  • Support RFQ/RFP processes including bid analysis and vendor evaluations
  • Conduct supplier and market research to support procurement initiatives
  • Coordinate new vendor setup and onboarding
  • Maintain procurement documentation including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier files
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and routine correspondence for Procurement leadership
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements
  • College degree required with 1 to 3 years of procurement experience and Supermarket Fixtures and Equipment purchasing experience desired; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, calculators, copiers and fax machines
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of the team
