Job description

USDA-inspected meat plant looking for a friendly, smiling face for the front office. Candidates must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb on a step ladder, load and unload 40 lb meat boxes on a regular basis, and be tolerant of cold temperatures. May be required to operate the scale system on the slaughter floor. Fast paced at times. Must have a courteous customer service attitude. Utilization of a computer and software is essential. Understanding of meat cuts is a plus. Ideal for a retired butcher, a butcher who desires a change in direction, or a rancher/farmer. This is not a simple receptionist position. This position works hand-in-hand with customers and the meat processing team.
