Production Lead Hand – Shipping & Receiving (Meat Processing)
Must have experience operating a Crown Stand-Up Forklift, Dock Stocker, and Motorized Walkie.

Location- Etobicoke, ON
$25.00 – $28.00/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium
Night Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Lead Hand – Shipping & Receiving to join our food manufacturing team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating production activities, managing shipping and receiving operations, overseeing raw material flow, supporting production employees, and ensuring products meet food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support production employees to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and production activities.
Transport raw materials from cooler/freezer locations to production using a motorized walkie.
Must have experience operating a Crown Stand-Up Forklift, Dock Stocker, and Motorized Walkie.
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain inventory accuracy.
Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory data into ERP systems.
Assist with line setup, material handling, and production operations.
Monitor production flow and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
Support employee training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, shipping & receiving, or warehouse operations.
2+ years of leadership experience in a production, warehouse, or shipping environment.
Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Crown Stand-Up Forklift, Dock Stocker, and Walkie.
Experience coordinating shipments, inventory control, and material handling.
Experience with meat cutting, packaging, or processing equipment is an asset.
Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality standards.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in refrigerated environments (-20°C to +4°C).
Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
