Location: Arthur, Ontario

About the Role

PeopleConnect Staffing is currently hiring experienced Deboners, Butchers, and Meat Cutters for a new federal meat processing facility opening in Arthur, Ontario. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for skilled meat processing professionals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform deboning, butchering, and meat cutting tasks according to production requirements.
  • Use knives and other cutting tools safely and efficiently.
  • Trim and prepare meat products according to customer and quality specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and yield.
  • Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Inspect products and remove defects when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Deboner, Butcher, or Meat Cutter in a meat processing facility is required.
  • Strong knife handling and cutting skills.
  • Experience working with beef, pork, poultry, or other meat products is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated/cold environment.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
