Job description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join a fast-growing company in the merchant cash advance (MCA) industry. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a team of five operations professionals (three onshore and two offshore), optimize core business processes, and help scale the company's operational infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five operations professionals.

  • Oversee daily operations, including deal processing, payments, reporting, and workflow management.

  • Manage operational systems, software integrations, and third-party vendors.

  • Troubleshoot operational and system issues to ensure business continuity.

  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale operational processes.

  • Develop and maintain operational documentation and best practices.

  • Partner with leadership to optimize operations and implement new technologies when beneficial.

  • Evaluate the existing technology stack and recommend improved systems or processes where appropriate.

Technology Environment

You’ll work with a technology stack that includes:

  • Lend SaaS (CRM)

  • MoneyThumb

  • DataMerch

  • HyperVerge

  • Additional integrated operational tools and third-party platforms

Experience with these specific tools is not required, but candidates should be comfortable working across multiple systems, managing software integrations, and collaborating with third-party vendors.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in the merchant cash advance (MCA), alternative lending, fintech, or similar financial services industry is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success improving processes and scaling operational functions.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Hands‑on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and day‑to‑day execution.

  • Comfortable working across multiple operational systems, software integrations, and third-party platforms.

  • Experience evaluating and implementing process improvements and operational technologies.

  • Startup or high-growth company experience is a strong plus.
