Job Summary

Maintains supply of materials required for production to achieve plan. Releasing work orders through production for sub assembly to finished goods. Maintaining inventory levels in SAP and Kanban levels on the shop floor. Ensures periodic goals are met and are aligned with the needs and requests of customers.

Job Details/Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring materials are in place to meet daily/weekly & Monthly schedules.
  • Releasing of production work orders, for all levels of the BOM including all sub assembly & subcontract product.
  • Participate in planning meetings at various levels of the business.   
  • Maintain Kanban levels on sub assembly and raw materials to ensure plan is achieved.
  • Manage and publish reports as directed.

  • Maintain awareness of the relevance and importance of activities performed and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
  • Work within the QMS always, ensure accurate completion of records and highlight issues to immediate supervisor any issues affecting quality.
  • Responsible to ensure facility, processes and documentation always remain in a state of audit readiness.
