Position: Adobe Martech Architect

Location: ย Atlanta, GA (Hybrid 3/2)

Long Term Contract

Role Overview

The Martech Architect is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions using AEM, AEP and its associated services (RT-CDP, AJO, CJA). This role requires deep expertise in data architecture, identity resolution, and integration with marketing technology ecosystems to enable personalized, data-driven customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Solution Architecture
    1. Define end-to-end AEP architecture, including XDM schemas, datasets, profiles, and identity stitching.
    2. Design data ingestion pipelines (batch, streaming, API-based) for diverse enterprise systems.
    3. Ensure integration with Adobe Experience Cloud products (RT-CDP, AJO, CJA) and external systems like CRM, DMPs, and cloud data warehouses.
  2. Data Strategy & Governance
    1. Develop scalable, reusable customer data models aligned with enterprise governance.
    2. Implement privacy, consent, and compliance standards across all data flows.
    3. Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of CDP infrastructure.
  3. Integration & Activation
    1. Build APIs and connectors for real-time data ingestion and activation.
    2. Enable campaign migration from legacy tools to Adobe stack.
    3. Support segmentation, personalization, and journey orchestration use cases.
  1. Technical Leadership
    1. Act as a subject matter expert for AEM, AEP and related Adobe services.
    2. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams.
    3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate use cases into technical requirements.
  2. Innovation & Best Practices
    1. Stay updated on Adobe product roadmap and emerging MarTech trends.
    2. Develop architectural documentation, reference designs, and best practices.
    3. Drive continuous improvement in AEP implementation methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:ย 10โ€“15 years in data/MarTech architecture, with 3โ€“5 years in Adobe AEP/RT-CDP/AJO.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of XDM schemas, identity resolution, and profile stitching.
    • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Kafka/EventHub, Azure Data Factory, APIs, and ETL tools.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Certifications:ย Adobe Certified Expert โ€“ AEP highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills:ย Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
