Job description

In the journey of life, your career should make a difference.

At Inizio Evoke, we come together-to do the best work, in the best possible place. We're all in. Because it's everyone's role to make health more human.

We are seeking a strategic, client-focused Vice President, MarTech Strategy and Solutions to serve as a senior technology partner across strategic client accounts. This role shapes MarTech technology strategy, defines scalable solution architecture, and guides technology direction across complex digital transformation engagements.

As a trusted advisor, you will partner with clients, Digital Solutions Leads, Account teams, and delivery teams to translate business objectives into actionable technology strategies, enterprise roadmaps, and implementation plans. You thrive in ambiguity, bringing clarity to complex business challenges while helping clients make informed technology investment decisions that deliver measurable business value.

This is a build-and-do leadership role for a technology strategist who enjoys exploring emerging technologies, building proofs of concept, validating new capabilities, and partnering closely with development teams to bring ideas from concept to production. Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable in facilitating executive strategy sessions, designing MarTech architecture, building technical prototypes, and guiding development teams through implementation.

A key focus of this role is identifying and operationalizing AI and emerging technology opportunities, ensuring innovation is not only explored but applied responsibly and effectively to accelerate business outcomes for clients and our organization.

This is a fully remote role, reporting to the SVP, Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy

  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead technology vision and strategy across strategic client engagements.
  • Develop MarTech technology roadmaps aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Assess current state technology landscapes and define future-state architectures, platforms, and capabilities.
  • Guide clients on MarTech architecture, platform strategy, integration approaches, and technology modernization.
  • Translate complex business objectives into scalable technology strategies and actionable implementation plans.
  • Advise executive stakeholders on technology investments, modernization initiatives, AI adoption, and digital transformation priorities.
  • Establish architectural principles, governance, and technology standards that support scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Solution Architecture & Technical Consulting

  • Lead client discovery sessions, executive workshops, technology assessments, demonstrations, and solution planning engagements.
  • Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured solution architectures, delivery approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Evaluate enterprise platforms, cloud technologies, AI capabilities, and integration strategies to recommend best-fit solutions.
  • Define scalable architectures across cloud, data, AI, integration, and digital experience ecosystems.
  • Produce executive-level recommendations for balancing business value, technical feasibility, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Create business requirements, solution architecture documents, technical briefs, and implementation strategies.
  • Partner closely with development and delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity throughout implementation.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both executive stakeholders and technical teams.

Innovation & AI

  • Identify AI, automation, and emerging technology opportunities across client engagements and internal initiatives.
  • Advise clients on practical AI adoption strategies, governance, security, and responsible implementation.
  • Design AI-enabled solutions leveraging enterprise AI platforms, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures where appropriate.
  • Partner with innovation, engineering, and delivery teams to operationalize AI concepts into production-ready capabilities.
  • Stay current with evolving technology trends and translate emerging capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

Growth & Client Leadership

  • Support business development by shaping technology strategies for proposals, pitches, and new client opportunities.
  • Partner with account teams to identify technology-led growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Guide technology strategy during new client onboarding and solution planning.
  • Build trusted executive relationships and serve as the primary technology advisor for strategic accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation, or marketing technology initiatives within the Life Sciences industry.
  • 5+ years in a digital-first delivery agency or consultancy
  • Deep expertise in MarTech architecture, AWS cloud services, APIs, systems integration, modern application development, and distributed systems.
  • Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures using microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless technologies, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns, API-first design, event-driven architecture, identity management, and middleware technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), data lakes, data warehouses, analytics platforms, and customer data ecosystems.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled solutions including large language models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI governance.
  • Expertise evaluating and integrating MarTech platforms including CMS, CRM, DAM, marketing automation, digital experience, and customer engagement platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise security, privacy, identity management, compliance, and regulated technology environments.
  • Comfortable building prototypes, evaluating APIs and SDKs, and validating emerging technologies through hands-on technical exploration.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level recommendations while guiding development teams toward scalable implementation.
  • Visionary thinker with hands-on execution capability.
  • Experience supporting business development and proposal development
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge business strategy and technology, translating executive vision into practical, scalable technical solutions
  • Proven experience leading technical strategies and implementations within life sciences.
