Job description

This is a temporary position. 

Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, Global Consulting supports the delivery of high-priority, cross-enterprise initiatives aligned to the strategic priorities of Marriott International. This role partners closely with project leads and senior stakeholders while independently managing day-to-day workstreams.

This individual supports complex engagements by structuring work, coordinating cross-functional teams, synthesizing inputs into clear insights, developing executive-ready materials, and facilitating forums that drive alignment and enable senior leader decision-making. 

Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, comfort with ambiguity, the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field
  • Four (4) or more years of progressive experience in consulting or program management roles
  • Proven track record advising business leaders and delivering high-impact solutions in large, complex organizations
  • Demonstrated experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience driving organizational change and transformation initiatives

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Experience within the lodging or hospitality sector
  • Prior consulting firm experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program & Workstream Management: Support and/or lead multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment to objectives, timelines, and deliverables 
  • Progress & Performance Tracking: Coordinate day-to-day work, track milestones, provide clear visibility into progress, and ensure continued momentum
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; develop mitigation plans and escalate as needed
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and forums to drive alignment and enable senior leader decision-making
  • Structured Problem Solving & Deliverables: Develop clear, structured materials (e.g., presentations, updates, frameworks) to support decision-making and communication
  • Flexible Deployment: Contribute across multiple high-priority initiatives, adapting quickly to new projects, teams, and business needs
