Job Description The Role: Marketing Manager The Company: Confidential Venture Capital Firm Location: San Francisco, CA Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 DOE + incredible benefits Our client, a highly respected venture capital firm focused on backing innovative founders and category-defining companies, is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, strategic, and hands-on marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. In this role, you'll help elevate the firm's brand presence, support portfolio company initiatives, drive content and communications efforts, and create meaningful engagement across founders, investors, and the broader startup ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and executor, bringing strong storytelling abilities, exceptional project management skills, and a genuine passion for innovation. What You'll Do: Lead and execute integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and engagement Develop compelling content across digital channels, including social media, newsletters, website updates, and thought leadership pieces Partner closely with firm leadership to support communications, investor-facing materials, and strategic marketing priorities Manage the firm's social media presence and content calendar while identifying opportunities to increase visibility and audience growth Coordinate events, founder programming, and community-building initiatives from planning through execution Track marketing performance and provide insights to optimize future campaigns and initiatives Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, designers, and other creative partners as needed Support portfolio company marketing efforts and contribute to special projects across the platform team What We're Looking For: Marketing experience, preferably within venture capital, technology, startups, professional services, or a similarly fast-paced environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for brand voice and messaging Experience managing content, social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Naturally proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure success and make informed recommendations Passion for startups, innovation, and the venture ecosystem Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
