Sage is looking for an Audience Marketing Manager to lead strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives that grow, engage, and retain target audiences across multiple brands. The role guides audience development to deliver measurable results, serves as a key contact for collaborators, and collaborates across teams to support business objectives.

Your New Role:

Strategy and Planning

  • Lead marketing strategy for assigned products, with clear accountability for performance and return on investment.

Audience Growth and Insights

  • Leverage the organization's Customer Data Platform to segment audiences, analyze engagement trends, and optimize marketing strategies for improved audience acquisition and retention.

  • Analyze audience behavior, preferences, and market trends to shape strategy and inform decision-making.

  • Identify audience segments and growth opportunities, and implement data-led plans across email, social, paid media, and partnerships.

  • Deliver campaigns that build awareness, drive conversion, and support acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.

  • Advance integrated marketing approaches and adopt new tools that support audience growth and revenue performance.

  • Lead marketing strategy for assigned products, with clear accountability for performance and return on investment.

  • Analyze audience behavior, preferences, and market trends to shape strategy and inform decision-making.

  • Deliver campaigns that build awareness, drive conversion, and support acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.

  • Advance integrated marketing approaches and adopt new tools that support audience growth and revenue performance.

Content and Channel Optimization

  • Optimize content across digital channels and align messaging with audience needs and channel procedures.

Campaign Management

  • Plan, implement, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social, paid media, and related channels.

  • Monitor campaign performance, apply testing and optimization, and translate results into clear recommendations.

  • Implement A/B testing and refine campaigns based on performance metrics.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Partner effectively with editorial, sales, and creative teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives on schedule.

Can you be our New Audience Marketing Manager? Do you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in audience development, subscription marketing, or digital campaign management.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret audience data and convert insights into action.

  • Experience in B2B publishing, life sciences, or academic publishing is advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing processes, including campaign planning, promotional materials, and execution.

  • Experience managing Customer Data Platforms.

  • Sound business judgment, with the ability to assess situations and identify effective solutions.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

  • Able to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and contribute in a fast-paced team environment.
