Description:

The goal of this role is to drive more meetings to the outside sales reps, and to improve connections to prospects to increase net new sales revenue. A Market Development Specialist plays a crucial role in the sales process, primarily focused on the early stages of the sales funnel. In this key role, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential clients through outbound cold calls and emails. Your primary objective will be to generate new business opportunities and qualify leads for our sales team. You will conduct research to identify prospective clients, pinpoint key decision-makers, and engage them in insightful conversations to understand their needs and effectively present our solutions. You will collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies, continuously refining your approach based on feedback and market trends. This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.


Key responsibilities include:

1. Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue potential customers through various channels, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.

2. Initial Outreach: Perform outbound calls and emails to engage prospects, introducing the company’s offerings and value proposition.

3. Qualification: Assess the needs and interests of potential clients to determine their suitability as leads, using criteria set by the sales and marketing teams.

4. Information Gathering: Gather relevant information about potential clients to tailor the sales approach and provide insights to the sales team.

5. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with prospects to nurture interest and guide them through the early stages of the sales process.
