What will your day look like?
Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (KPI): ESS, quality, on‑time delivery, productivity, etc.
Manage unionized employees in accordance with the collective agreement
Prevent health & safety incidents and quality escapes by applying proper practices, methods, and behaviors (monthly inspections, shop‑floor audits, near‑miss investigations, accident reports, RCCA)
Manage employee productivity while meeting priorities and operational objectives
Actively participate in the implementation of initiatives/projects aimed at continuous improvement
Create an overtime management plan based on operational needs
Establish work schedules, balance shifts, and manage vacation planning
Manage organizational changes and ensure workforce flexibility
Write annual performance evaluations and communicate them to employees
What do you need to succeed?
Minimum of 4 years of experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge and experience with inspection, assembly, and engine testing processes in the aerospace industry (an asset)
Bachelor"s degree in aeronautics, business administration, or a related field (an engineering degree is an asset)
Proven leadership and strong team‑management skills
Experience leading and developing high‑performance teams, groups, projects, or processes
Strong orientation toward quality and service excellence in a demanding environment
Ability to work independently under pressure
