A Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. They coordinate with different departments, such as production, procurement, and logistics, to plan the timing and sequence of manufacturing activities. Their main goal is to optimize resource utilization, minimize downtime, and ensure products are delivered on time. They also adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, equipment breakdowns, or supply chain disruptions. Manufacturing Schedulers play a critical role in meeting production targets and maintaining customer satisfaction.
