Job description

Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Materials Scheduler. This role is onsite at our La Grange, NC facility. Relocation is not provided.
The La Grange, NC facility specializes in injection molding, conduit fittings and cable glands, plugs and receptacles, as well as drilling and marine products. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
This position is responsible for performing diversified duties related to MRP planning, scheduling, and expediting finished goods and components to support strategic inventory goals.
In this role you will:
  • Review customer orders, plant capacity, and inventory to develop schedules to meet production requirements.
  • Create daily or weekly schedules of work centers as needed while mitigating capacity constraints or bottlenecks.
  • Support material replenishment and orders to ensure manufacturing always has the required direct or indirect materials.
  • Analyze material requirements, SAP set up of parts, safety stock review & update.
  • Respond timely to MRP action messages with designated tools to ensure raw materials and packaging components are available at the right time and quantities are in place to support the production plan.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communications with key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules.
  • Manage removals of excess or obsolete and its disposition.
  • Support reporting and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals.
  • Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication, and mitigation of future potential problems.
  • Expedites orders with suppliers to avoid shortages and communicate updates to team.
  • Review/checking of applicable purchasing documentation (BOM, REQ, PO, other as appropriate).
  • Order component parts and outside secondary operation services through SAP.
  • Perform inventory audits as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a supply chain related role such as procurement, planning, or scheduling.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within a 50-miles radius of La Grange, NC to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
