Job Description

As our Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be the critical link between our headquarters supply chain organization and the physical execution at our new Salt Lake City Electronics Manufacturing Facility. As operations manager, you will ensure a steady flow of raw materials, optimize labor schedules, schedule outbound logistics to meet customer needs, and maintain synchronization with our headquarters supply chain team. Your responsibilities will include:

Supply Chain Synchronization: Serve as the primary liaison with the headquarters supply chain organization to ensure site production schedules align with broader corporate demand and inventory strategies.
Material Flow Management: Work closely with the Supply Planning Manager and Factory Scheduler to direct the end-to-end flow of raw materials into the facility, ensuring zero production downtime due to material shortages while minimizing excess on-hand inventory.
Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Oversee all dock-to-stock and dock-to-customer activities, managing logistics providers and internal warehouse teams to streamline the movement of goods.
Strategic Labor Planning: Develop and execute labor models and staffing schedules to meet fluctuating production demands and shipment targets.
Operational Execution: Coordinate daily/weekly activities of the production floor to achieve monthly shipment targets and .
Continuous Improvement: Partner with headquarters and site Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain functions to strategically drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of career progression and technical excellence.
Budgetary Oversight: Prepare and implement the departmental budget.

Preferred Qualifications
A track record of maintaining remote-to-headquarters alignment with respect to electronics manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate incoming receiving, warehousing, production floor operations, and outgoing logistics in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, procurement cycles, and logistics management in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to dynamically align factory floor activities to changing business conditions and supply chain disruptions.
Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles, systems, and tools; with the ability to impactfully apply these to the factory floor.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate corporate supply chain initiatives and KPI goals into actionable floor-level plans.
Proven capabilities in leading a multi-disciplined team to meet objectives under tight deadlines.

Target Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000 USD
