BestLogic Staffing is searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join one of our premier aerospace manufacturing clients. This leadership role is ideal for an engineering professional who thrives on driving operational excellence, leading technical teams, and implementing world-class manufacturing processes.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for improving production processes, developing manufacturing methods, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and production processes
  • Estimate production times, labor requirements, equipment needs, and manufacturing costs
  • Create and maintain CAD models and manufacturing documentation using CATIA V5 or similar CAD software
  • Generate engineering drawings and product structures that accurately reflect customer requirements
  • Establish manufacturing tolerances and process documentation
  • Support production and subcontractors with engineering solutions and technical guidance
  • Coordinate engineering priorities with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Production teams
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction
  • Resolve manufacturing challenges through analytical problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards
QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred (Associate's Degree considered with relevant experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Experience with CATIA V5
