Lead Proposal Administrator Allied Experts | Cherry Hill, NJ Position Summary

Allied Experts is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Lead Proposal Administrator to join our growing team. This position serves as the company's internal building performance expert, responsible for transforming home energy audits and field-collected data into comprehensive project proposals that improve a home's comfort, safety, health, durability, and energy efficiency.

The Lead Proposal Administrator plays a critical role in the customer journey by analyzing building performance data, designing solutions, creating accurate project proposals, performing energy modeling, developing HVAC system designs, coordinating equipment selections, and maximizing available rebates and financing opportunities for homeowners.

This position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, critical thinking, project design, data analysis, and customer-focused problem solving.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate residential and commercial project proposals based on energy audits, building performance data, and customer needs.
  • Analyze and model project opportunities to improve home comfort, safety, health, durability, and energy efficiency.
  • Design HVAC and weatherization solutions that align with program requirements, customer goals, and company profitability targets.
  • Review audits for completeness and accuracy while providing feedback to Building Analysts and Auditors.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper project design, equipment selection, and pricing.
  • Maximize available rebates, incentives, and financing opportunities for customers.
  • Prepare and submit project documentation to utility and rebate programs for approval and reimbursement.
  • Monitor proposal performance, win rates, and project margins while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with program requirements and company standards.
  • Serve as the company's internal subject matter expert on proposal development, building performance modeling, and project design.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Complete all assigned proposals and submissions within established timelines.
  • Maintain a high level of proposal accuracy and quality.
  • Achieve targeted gross margin goals on residential projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate utility program submissions.
  • Review completed audits and provide actionable feedback to auditors.
  • Develop accurate Manual J calculations and HVAC system designs.
  • Effectively incorporate mechanical and weatherization considerations into project recommendations.
