ROLE
As a Solution Architect, you will be an integral part of the Sales team, identifying and quantifying Propel's value proposition in sales campaigns. You will demonstrate Propel's product capabilities, built on the Salesforce platform, and quickly gain credibility as an expert in client-facing environments.
Job Duties
Job Core Duties:
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and quantify Propel's value proposition within sales campaigns.
    • Conduct tailored product demonstrations, built on the Salesforce platform, to align with prospect business objectives and showcase specific capabilities.
    • Develop and maintain standardized software demonstrations for internal team utilization.
    • Establish and maintain credibility as a subject matter expert in client-facing interactions.
  • Customer Success and Account Management Support:
    • Partner with Account Management (AM) and Customer Success Management (CSM) teams to architect strategic process improvements for key accounts, driving increased seat utilization and adoption.
    • Provide comprehensive support to AM and CSM teams, including conducting customer demonstrations and facilitating strategic planning sessions.
    • Collaborate with Professional Services to define project scopes and develop phased quotations.
    • Review and document current customer usage of the company platform.
    • Support the customer success team with standard demo capabilities.
  • Demo Environment Management and Development:
    • Coordinate with Product Management on enhancements to the Seed Org, ensuring it reflects current capabilities and best practices.
    • Collaborate with Product Management to integrate Seed Org functionalities into Propel's managed package.
    • Contribute to the enhancement of Trial and Demo orgs with advanced capabilities.
  • Industry Engagement:
    • Represent Propel at industry conferences and events.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of solution engineering experience.
  • Education in a STEM field of study
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following solution domains:
    • Quality Management
    • Product Information Management
    • Product Lifecycle Management
    • Enterprise Software Technical Sales
    • Supply Chain or Contract Manufacturing
    • Engineering Design / Product Development
    • Experience working with one or more of the following verticals:
    • Electronics / High Tech
    • Consumer Goods
    • Medical Devices & Equipment
    • Industrial Machinery
  • Strong presentation skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts in simple ways.
  • Salesforce platform experience (preferred)
  • Passionate about continuously learning and growing your skills

$150,000 - $170,000 a year
Please note the salary range shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. In addition to the base pay noted above, this position also offers participation in the company bonus program which is paid out based on company performance.
