Job description

Responsible for administratively managing a large or complex University program or multiple programs. Provides input in the development of program plan and objectives with responsibility for achieving objectives within defined parameters. Typically supervises small staffs and are responsible for long range planning. Responsibilities include budgeting, networking/public relations, technical training and assistance, grant and report writing. May handle regulatory responsibilities, contract submissions and identify research funding. May handle event planning and oversight of construction projects.
The Program Manager II will be someone that's highly motivated and detailed oriented.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre Award Grants Management
  • Serve as point of contact for PIs/Study Team/OSP for proposal submissions
  • Set deadlines and upload all documents into submission systems
  • Ensure proposal submissions are aligned with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies
  • Assist with budget preparation for research faculty proposals as needed
  • Create and submit biosketch documents for research faculty as needed
  • Develops proposal support documentation such as letters of support, facilities and resources, etc.

Post Award Grants Management
  • Create revised budgets once funding is awarded in conjunction with PI approval and submit to OSP
  • Coordinate and assist with JIT submissions as needed
  • Coordinate and assist with progress report submissions as needed
  • Setup subawards associated with research operations
  • Monitor subaward invoicing and submit payments
  • Create and submit other support documents for research faculty as needed
  • Submit re-budget requests, cost transfers, other documents as needed

Administrative Operations
  • Submit and monitor contracts/fee for service agreements for research operations
  • Submit funding source change and reclass ACT documents for research operations
  • Submit payment requests and reimbursement for research operations
  • Approve pcard purchases for research operations
  • Provide quotes, letters, MOU's to research collaborators
  • Complete billing and invoicing for research collaborators
  • Develop onboarding process for research faculty and staff
  • Assist with calendar management for research faculty
  • Other duties assigned

Salary Range: $51,270 - $83,300
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
