Overview

PROGRAM MANAGER (CASBES):

Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to support the upcoming Cloud Acceleration Services (CAS) Business Enterprise Systems (BES) located in Montgomery, AL. The Program Manager will serve as the single accountable leader for contract performance.

Responsibilities
  • Staffing, schedule, cost, quality, risk, subcontractor coordination, customer engagement, and delivery across cloud assessment, migration, continuous development, and cybersecurity task areas.
  • Ensure Agile execution, measurable performance, and timely issue resolution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred. Four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
  • Fifteen (15+) years overall IT program management; ten (10+) years managing DoD or Federal IT programs; five (5+) years managing cloud modernization, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or enterprise application modernization programs.
  • Certification: PMP required; ITIL 4 Foundation preferred; Agile/SAFe certification preferred. Must maintain applicable certifications, complete annual continuing education, and meet contract-specific cybersecurity awareness requirements.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. Top Secret preferred. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
