We're looking for a motivated, dependable Store Manager to join our Liquor Depot team and create an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This is a great opportunity for an experienced retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong, high-performing teams.

About The Role

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop all store employees
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
  • Foster a positive, engaged work culture and address issues promptly
  • Ensure all team members follow company policies and alcohol regulations

Store Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
  • Manage store communication (email, updates, direction setting)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
  • Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations and company standards

Customer Experience

  • Model friendly, informed, and responsible service
  • Ensure proper ID verification and adherence to AGLC rules
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and maintain strong community relationships

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Manage store financials and help meet or exceed sales and margin targets
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
  • Review financial documentation for accuracy and prepare required reports
  • Monitor loss prevention practices and ensure proper cash handling

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3-year experience in retail environment
  • Minimum 3-year experience in supervisory or management role
  • ProServe certification(or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
  • Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
