What you'll do:
Lead the Bakery/Deli team in a manner that demonstrates day-to-day behaviors that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and brand.

  • Manage the Bakery/deli Department in accordance with the company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards and overall expectations.

  • Recruit, train, develop, coach and motivate the bakery/deli team.

  • Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.

  • Perform team performance reviews and action plans for development.

  • Manage inventory levels and lead scheduled inventory procedures.

  • Develop sales promotion programs to grow the bakery/deli business.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, financial and marketing strategies.

  • Develop and administer action plans to achieve the desired results of the business plan.

  • Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of operational and financial results.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:


Someone that has a minimum of 3-5 years retail experience.
Someone that has 2-3 years experience managing/supervising others.
Previous retail management, deli or bakery experience is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and the ability to manage computer files efficiently.
Effective interpersonal, leadership and communications skills.
You are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
