Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Information Technology Manager in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Salary: $145k-$200k (depending on experience)
The Information Technology Manager supports the Navy by leading enterprise IT operations, engineering, and cybersecurity activities across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role is responsible for strategic planning, service delivery, system reliability, and compliance with DoD and Navy cybersecurity requirements.
Essential Functions:
  • Lead enterprise IT operations, including infrastructure, network, and system services supporting NETTN environments.
  • Oversee system availability, performance, and capacity planning across distributed CONUS and OCONUS environments.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF, STIGs, and Navy directives.
  • Direct implementation of IT service management (ITSM) practices aligned with ITIL frameworks.
  • Manage and coordinate incident response, problem management, and change management activities.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to IT staff, including mentoring, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Support system engineering and integration efforts to ensure secure and scalable architectures.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders, program leadership, and technical teams to align IT services with mission objectives.
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and accreditation activities, including ATO support.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements
Required:
  • 12+ years of experience in IT management, systems engineering, or enterprise IT operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise IT environments and technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL Foundation or higher).

Desired:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs and classified environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL Expert, CISSP-ISSMP, AWS/Azure certifications).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage large-scale IT operations and multiple priorities.

Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
