Job Title: IT User Support Technician 2026-2027

Position Status: Full Time; 12 Month - 261 Day Calendar
Salary: Hourly $23.00 - $28.00
JOB SUMMARY:
* Works with the AJUSD Technology department staff.
* Install, update, configure and maintain current district operating systems.
* Diagnoses and repairs computer hardware and software problems.
* Diagnoses and repairs classroom peripherals.
* Will work with IT Staff to solve network problems.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or equivalent GED
* One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Basic knowledge of popular computer software and experience with computer hardware is required.
* Valid Arizona Driver's License; may need personal vehicle to travel between sites. License must be maintained for the duration of the assignment
* Valid AZ IVP Card

Positions in this department typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, standing, walking, sitting, finger or manual dexterity, repetitive finger motion, speaking, hearing, seeing (with correction), focusing ability, or other factors applicable to this job. Employees may be subject to travel, odors, dust, poor ventilation, workspace restrictions, and loud noises. Duties may require employee to drive a vehicle, be exposed to outside weather conditions including extreme heat or cold, wind and rain. Employees may be required to lift or exert up to 40 pounds of force to move objects occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force to move objects frequently. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
