Responsibilities
  • Collaborate face-to-face with lawyers, department chairs, and project sponsors to build robust business cases.
  • Analyze current-state workflows to map out future-state business and technical requirements, providing IT teams with a comprehensive blueprint for delivery.
  • Elicit requirements across internal departments to develop high-impact user stories, use cases, and business process diagrams.
  • Conduct rigorous SaaS product assessments, competitive research, and cost-benefit analyses, presenting fact-based recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver executive-level presentations and firm-wide communications that articulate project benefits, drive user adoption, and ensure seamless solution deployment.
  • Continuously analyze business operations and protocols to uncover efficiencies, maximize organizational value, and increase sponsor satisfaction.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry innovations and legal tech trends, applying up-to-date expertise to complex project analysis and strategic implementations.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a deep track record of defining, mapping, and documenting complex functional and technical system requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects and confidently facilitating high-stakes meetings with technical teams, senior leadership, and attorneys.
  • Proven ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries, including IT departments, legal practice groups, General Counsel, and administrative leadership.
  • Solid foundation in Project Management frameworks, with hands-on experience across Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experienced in researching, evaluating, and recommending Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and SaaS products to meet business needs.
  • Strong collaborative and negotiation skills, with the ability to align clients, peers, and managers on critical project factors and deliverables.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • A proactive willingness to explore innovative techniques and new methodologies to continuously elevate departmental results.
