Business Continuity / Resilience Analyst — Contract
Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite Tuesday–Thursday)
Duration: 4 months
Pay Rate: $65/hr

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution, ATR International is seeking an execution-focused Business Continuity / Resilience Analyst for a 4-month contract engagement supporting the Bank's Business Continuity Management (BCM) program. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Resilience and will help ensure BCM information, plans, and records remain accurate, current, and audit-ready.

Overview
The Analyst will support delivery of the BCM program through Business Impact Analysis (BIA) data management, business continuity plan maintenance, exercise coordination, stakeholder engagement, and program reporting.

Major Accountabilities

Business Impact Analysis (BIA) & Data Management

  • Support the annual BIA process by organizing, validating, and maintaining BIA-related data and documentation
  • Enter, update, and reconcile BIA outputs within the Bank's designated system of record and supporting trackers
  • Review information for completeness, consistency, and alignment with enterprise standards
  • Track data gaps, stakeholder follow-ups, and outstanding items through completion
  • Support reporting, audit requests, and ongoing data quality activities

Business Continuity Planning & Exercising

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to review, update, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
  • Support plan refresh activities by validating recovery requirements, dependencies, contacts, and recovery procedures
  • Facilitate tabletop exercises, micro exercises, and readiness discussions with business teams
  • Document exercise outcomes, lessons learned, and improvement actions
  • Track completion of plan maintenance and exercise activities; escalate outstanding issues as needed

Program Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate BCM activities across business, technology, risk, and operational teams
  • Manage deliverables, action items, and workstream tracking to support program objectives and timelines
  • Prepare stakeholder communications, meeting materials, status updates, and documentation
  • Maintain organized records of decisions, assumptions, and supporting documentation
  • Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and delays with recommended next steps

BCM Program Support

  • Support BCM training administration, including assignments, completion tracking, reporting, and attestation activities
  • Assist with maintenance of BCM documentation, procedures, standards, and related program materials
  • Support after-action reviews and improvement plan tracking
  • Provide general support for business continuity, crisis management, and operational resilience initiatives as assigned

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with structured data
  • Experience maintaining system-of-record data, records, trackers, or program documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and drive follow-up actions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile information across multiple sources
  • Experience supporting business continuity, operational resilience, risk, compliance, or related programs

Preferred

  • Experience supporting BIA and BCP activities
  • Experience facilitating tabletop exercises, readiness reviews, or similar workshops
  • Familiarity with BCM, GRC, or other system-of-record platforms
  • Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
