Job description

At AbsenceSoft, we're transforming the employee experience. Our secure, intuitive technology helps employers bring humanity, certainty, and efficiency to some of the most complex moments in the workplace. Built by HR professionals for HR professionals, we're proud of where we've been and even more excited about where we're going.
AbsenceSoft is looking for a Sales Enablement Manager to design, develop, and execute the programs that help our go-to-market teams sell, onboard, train, and execute with consistency. In this role, you'll own our core enablement content, new-hire training, and Highspot as the single system for sales content. This is a standalone, senior individual contributor role on the Revenue Operations team, reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, with significant autonomy to build the enablement function from the ground up. Over time, this role is expected to evolve into a leadership position as the training and enablement function grows within the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own Highspot end to end as the single source of truth for sales content, keeping call scripts, talk tracks, discovery frameworks, objection-handling guides, and competitive battlecards current, organized, and searchable
  • Develop and maintain the core sales playbook covering the full deal cycle (prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, close), updating it as messaging, positioning, and process evolve
  • Analyze Gong call recordings to identify patterns from top performers and translate findings into scripts, snippets, and coaching content
  • Develop and maintain the company's point of view and positioning by industry, giving sellers tailored narratives and messaging for each vertical
  • Assess and prioritize content and training needs across the sales organization based on call reviews, pipeline trends, and manager and rep feedback
  • Design and manage a comprehensive onboarding program for new sales representatives, including ramp milestones, certification checkpoints, and manager sign-off criteria
  • Build interactive curricula and continuous coaching modules for new and experienced reps, grounded in the scripts, playbooks, and content housed in Highspot
  • Run live training and coaching sessions in both group settings (kickoffs, ramp cohorts) and one-on-one with reps and managers
  • Partner with front-line sales managers to reinforce enablement in the flow of work, equipping them to coach on plays, scripts, and playbook so training sticks beyond the classroom
  • Track ramp progress, certification completion, and time-to-productivity for new hires, adjusting programs based on data-driven insights, and align enablement programs with go-to-market initiatives alongside Sales leadership, Revenue Operations, and Product Marketing
  • Support sales kickoffs, QBRs, and off-sites with training content and facilitation
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment, assisting to maintain applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your role

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 3-6+ years in sales enablement, sales training, sales operations, or a related revenue-facing role in B2B SaaS
  • A track record of building sales content repositories, scripts/playbooks, or training programs without existing frameworks or infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Gong, and a sales enablement platform such as Highspot
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous input into clear playbooks, scripts, and training content
  • A self-directed style, comfortable operating with autonomy within a lean, senior team environment
  • Familiarity with sales coaching and performance platforms such as Ambition or Fullcast is a plus
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment is a plus
  • An instructional design background or certification is a plus
