Job Description Summary
The Prospect Research and Management (PRM) Graduate Assistant (GA) will work with the PRM team to support University Advancement fundraisers. The GA will perform general research and administrative duties as well as other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Assist PRM team in identifying and qualifying new donors.
Perform basic research tasks and verify data accuracy using public records and PRM databases.
Complete accurate data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
Assist with updating information in UA's donor database.
Provide other administrative support as requested.
The ideal candidate will be:
Willing to learn PRM's processes and systems.
Able to problem-solve.
Organized.
Able to take initiative and work under minimal supervision.
Adaptable to meet the shifting needs of the department.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of data.
Familiarity with internet web browsers and search engines.
Desired Qualifications
Effective time management and good communication and organizational skills.
Team player and good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Prior experience with database systems and/or willingness to master use of the University Advancement database and vendors.
