JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and oversees front of house food and beverage operations for the restaurant, bar, banquet, and catering areas of the hotel.
  • Supervises banquet operations during catered events and coordinates execution with the Sales, Event Planning, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure successful event delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Provides training, direction, supervision, and hands on support for associates and supervisors to accomplish operational goals, maintain service standards, and support a positive guest experience.
  • Acts as a liaison between Banquet, Culinary, and hotel leadership teams to facilitate communication, resolve operational challenges, and ensure seamless daily operations and event execution.
  • Works closely with hotel leadership and sales teams to plan and implement meetings, catered events, outlet promotions, and food and beverage initiatives that support revenue growth opportunities.
  • Ensures proper preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverage offerings while maintaining all safety, sanitation, health, and hygiene standards required by the brand and local regulations.
  • Oversees banquet and outlet setup, event timing, staffing, breakdown, and operational readiness while maintaining attention to detail and overall appearance standards throughout all food and beverage spaces.
  • Assists with scheduling, labor deployment, and wage cost controls based on occupancy levels, business demand, and event activity.
  • Monitors inventory levels, ordering, stock supplies, and operational equipment for restaurant, bar, and banquet operations.
  • Supports continuous staff education, coaching, development, and performance management to ensure associates are performing in accordance with Graduate Hotels standards and service expectations.
  • Ensures effective communication, engagement, and conflict resolution within the department to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Contributes to the effective management of operational issues, guest concerns, and service opportunities while acting as a team player across all hotel departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or certificate, post high school education and degreepreferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years food and beverage supervisory experiencerequired. Should be ina similar sizerestaurantoperation
