Job Description Summary:

Analysts in the Client Reporting Group are responsible for all aspects of monthly and quarterly performance report production across multiple asset classes including coordination with multiple parties, data input, reconciliation, client report administration, exhibit generation, quality control, and performance analysis. The position is operations focused and includes back/middle-office responsibilities to support Cambridge Associates' multiple services. Primary groups the Client Reporting Group interacts with include internal Investment Teams, Portfolio Implementation Management, Investment Operations, Data Processing, internal contractors, and external clients.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively coordinate working with offshore contractors to complete designated reporting tasks, while still being responsible for the oversight of client work and the understanding of reporting concepts and components
  • Collaborate with other operations groups to complete shared processes as part of report preparation, including confirmation and oversight of transactions, changes to the client's investment portfolio, data readiness, benchmark updates, and changes to the upcoming reporting deliverable
  • Own client portfolio administration including setup and maintenance of each assigned client's performance reporting profile/settings within proprietary applications for report generation and downstream data consumption by internal groups.
  • Investigate and resolve data gaps/discrepancies and maintain monthly data integrity through extensive quality control procedures.
  • Conduct total portfolio reconciliation of all underlying investment data for each assigned client to ensure data accuracy and completeness prior to report generation.
  • Configure and generate total portfolio and private investment reports via propriety applications and complete quality assurance processes
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing professional customer service and utilizing internal resources to effectively respond to inquiries
  • Participate in activities and process in support of broader department objectives. Opportunities include mentorship, training programs, and application development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (any major) and 1 year of related internship and work experience; minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred

  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and collectively as part of a team

Base salary range for this role:

Pay Range Minimum:

In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
