Job description

Client Reporting Analyst - Dallas

Role Summary

Delta Capita is seeking an Analyst to support Client Reporting within a leading global asset management business, based in Dallas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate, timely production and quality control of client reporting deliverables across institutional and wealth management mandates, working closely with portfolio management, performance measurement, and relationship management teams.

This role suits a detail-oriented individual looking to build a career in asset management operations, with strong exposure to reporting platforms, performance data, and client-facing deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Report Production & Quality Control

  • Product and quality-check periodic client reports, including performance summaries, portfolio holdings, attribution, and commentary, ensuring accuracy and consistency with source systems.
  • Validate data feeds from portfolio accounting, performance, and risk systems prior to report generation.
  • Investigate and resolve data breaks or discrepancies identified during the reporting production cycle, escalating where required.
  • Maintain report templates and ensure branding, formatting, and disclosure language remain current and compliant.

Client & Stakeholder Support

  • Support relationship management and client service teams with ad hoc reporting requests and bespoke client deliverables.
  • Liaise with performance, portfolio management, and technology teams to resolve data or system issues affecting reporting output.
  • Assist with onboarding new mandates onto the client reporting platform, including template build and data mapping.

Process & Control

  • Adhere to established production schedules, checklists, and sign-off procedures to meet strict client deadlines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation, control enhancements, and reporting efficiency projects.
  • Maintain accurate procedural documentation and support audit and regulatory review requirements as needed.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in asset management, fund administration, or financial services operations, ideally within client or performance reporting.
  • Working knowledge of investment products (equities, fixed income, multi-asset) and standard performance/attribution concepts.
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with reporting or portfolio accounting platforms (e.g. SimCorp, Eagle, FactSet, Bloomberg AIM) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail with a strong quality-control mindset, comfortable working to tight, recurring deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft client-ready commentary and correspondence.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Exposure to GIPS performance standards or regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with report automation or business intelligence tools (e.g. VBA, Power BI, Python).
  • Prior experience supporting institutional or wealth management client bases.

Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients' demands.

How We Work:

Delta Capita is an equal opportunity employer. We positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of age, color, disability, national origin, ancestry, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable law.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. If you require any reasonable adjustments through your interview process, please use the designated space within the application questionnaire.
