Job description

The Manager, Business and Technical Analysis leads a team of Analysts to deliver actionable insights and effective solutions to support organizational objectives. This role translates complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology solutions. Drives high-quality analysis to enable informed decision-making, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and champions continuous improvement in processes and solutions. Provides technical leadership, facilitates stakeholder engagement, and empowers teams in supporting company goals and delivering the strategic direction established by senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Analysts to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality business analysis and solutions across projects and initiatives. Manage team performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and support career growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, define scope, and translate requirements into clear, functional specifications and documentation. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and other techniques to gather requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and use cases using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Unified Modeling Language (UML)). Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle and validate solutions meet business needs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Owners and Technical Leads) to ensure solutions support business objectives and are aligned with strategic goals.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, business solutions, or technical solutions roles
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity
  • Advanced knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices (BABOK, BPMN)
  • Skilled in eliciting, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements
  • Proficient in business process modeling and workflow analysis
  • Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience translating business needs into actionable solutions, collaborating with product owners, architects, and technical teams
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop business and technical analysts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and recommend effective solutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and deliver presentations

Compensation
The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $105,322.00 to $131,652.00 Annually. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.
Additional Compensation
This position is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus.
