What you'll do
  • Maintenance Planning & Coordination: Work directly with maintenance, planning, storeroom, and operations teams to plan, prioritize, and schedule larger and complex maintenance work plans, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption.
  • Job Instruction Development: Create detailed job instructions including preventative maintenance, repair procedures, troubleshooting aids, and guides to support maintenance teams.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate and manage contractors onsite, ensuring safety compliance, scope adherence, and quality of work, while providing constructive feedback to contractors.
  • Maintenance Reliability Projects: Lead and deliver reliability-focused projects, including asset criticality assessments, root cause analysis (RCA), preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment uptime, safety, and lifecycle performance.
  • Training & Leadership: Train maintenance team leaders and technicians on systematic problem-solving techniques such as Root Cause Analysis and PDCA, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Apply strong electrical and mechanical knowledge to analyze equipment failures, identify recurring issues, and lead corrective action initiatives including Kaizen events and recommendation reports.
  • Systems Navigation: Utilize CMMS, EAM systems, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, and other digital tools to build job plans, manage documentation, and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected; primarily onsite with occasional visits to related sites or vendors as needed.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a technical or project role (e.g., millwright, electrician/controls, or equivalent technical trade)
  • Proficiency with PC operations including Microsoft Suite, Oracle or SAP, and other EAM software
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Experience leading maintenance reliability projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, and Kaizen methodologies
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, local file management, and technical drawings/schematics
  • Desire and ability to grow into a leadership role within maintenance and reliability functions
