Maintenance Planner
$32-$35/hr | Temp-to-Perm | Alcoa, TN

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Planner for a large industrial employer in Alcoa. This position serves as the liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance teams while supporting maintenance planning, scheduling, documentation, and materials management.

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts on a 2/3/3/2 schedule
  • Assigned to either days or nights based on business needs
  • Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule maintenance, preventive maintenance, and outage work
  • Create and manage work orders in Oracle eAM
  • Coordinate materials, parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance activities
  • Maintain maintenance records, work instructions, and documentation
  • Support safety, production, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Order and manage supplies for production and maintenance departments

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience
  • 3-5 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience
  • Mechanical and electrical background
  • Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work either day or night shift as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
