About the Position:

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager. This position is baseed at our office in Shelbyville, TN.
The Maintenance Manager role is responsible for ensuring the longevity and efficiency of our manufacturing operations through the development and implementation of maintenance strategies, procedures, and teams. The Maintenance Manager plays a vital role in maximizing equipment availability and performance, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to uphold Marelli's commitment to operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities will be:
  • Maintenance Strategy Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.ย 
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, fostering an environment of professional growth, efficiency, and collaboration. Ensure the team is highly skilled, motivated, and equipped to meet operational demands.
  • Operational Support and Improvement: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address equipment and facility-related challenges. Drive initiatives that reduce downtime, improve productivity, and support Marelli's commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
  • Budget Management and Cost Control: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, closely monitoring expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and proactive risk management among the maintenance team.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
  • Create strategies to minimize plant downtime as much as possible and meet optimal response times in the required arrangements.
What Qualifications you will bring:

ย Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is required. Additional qualifications in business management or related disciplines are a plus.

ย Minimum Experience: 8 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role. Experience in the automotive sector is highly desirable.

ย Certifications: Certifications in Maintenance Management, Reliability Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related fields are advantageous. Training certifications in health and safety standards relevant to the manufacturing industry are preferred.
