Job Description
Mailroom Clerk Full-Time
Pay: $17 per hour
Location: Onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 2:30 AM - 10:30 AM (one weekday off)
Overtime: Must be available as needed
Job Summary:
The Mailroom Clerk is an entry-level position responsible for receiving, sorting, opening, and scanning incoming mail. This role follows established procedures and requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and sort incoming mail trays (10-20 lbs)
  • Open mail and prepare documents for scanning
  • Operate seated mail opener and scanner machines
  • Scan and classify documents according to contract requirements
  • Identify document types and capture required information
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and overtime
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with close supervision
    Work Environment
  • Onsite mailroom setting
  • Seated work with occasional lifting
  • Entry-level role with no supervisory responsibilities

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $17.00
