Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Mailing Operator to join our second shift team in Sartell, MN. You will set up and operate intelligent inserting and mailing equipment to produce a finished product according to customer specifications. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine.
Shift:
  • Option 1: Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am
  • Option 2: Rotating 4 days a week 4:00pm - 2:00am

Job Responsibilities:
  • Set up machine: Review work order for specifications. Set up equipment to work order requirements.
  • Maintain equipment: Perform minor maintenance daily including troubleshooting and general cleaning. Assist in performing preventive maintenance of equipment as directed.
  • Operate equipment: Monitor quality of product being produced with limited waste. Tray finished job as required in work order with accurate counts.
  • Completes paperwork for department: Maintain logbooks, change orders, work orders, load tags, maintenance logs, and shipping orders.
  • Assist in operational process improvement projects.
  • Assist in writing and updating operator procedure manuals.
  • Read work orders and accurately follow instructions.

About You:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years working with Manufacturing equipment
  • Intermediate computer experience/knowledge, including Microsoft Office
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs and be on your feet for 8 hours a day
