Description
As a Data & Mailing Specialist, you would work on customers' data using mail specific software to create presorted business mail and utilize USPS mail regulations to ensure accurate documentation is provided to other departments and to the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Import customer data into mailing software and prep data for mail presorts.
  • Accurately complete presorted jobs from start to finish using company purchased software.
  • Provide accurate postage estimates to customers.
  • Maintain, and complete internal paperwork and documentation for affected departments.
  • Understand postal regulations and requirements for postage savings and ensure proper handling of mail through the USPS system.
  • Provide the USPS with information needed to process all postage statements and submit to postal website in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with all production departments in a professional manner.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of data processing and mail presort experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of USPS mail requirements and regulations preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and have previous experience with different computer programs including mail processing software.
  • Must have the ability to learn to read, analyze, and interpret general mailing reports, procedures, and basic postal regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from department managers, employees, and USPS staff.
