Job description

Seeking a Liberty University student to join the Print & Mailing Services team. This student would work as a part of our production staff in all aspects of managing incoming and outgoing orders, finishing, shipping, delivery, and customer service. They should be able to work with a team by taking on any role in the daily workflow of Print & Mailing Services. Candidates will work on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Stuff mailings, glue, pieces, assemble pieces by hand
  • Assist in production by catching off the production machines
  • Ability to operate light hand tools
  • Perform finishing operations such as weeding, cutting, laminating, grommets and mounting of printed pieces to various substrates.
  • Keeping work area clean and organized.
  • Ability to logically solve problems
  • Ability to accurately measure and place graphics prior to installation on various substrates
  • Team oriented, flexible, and focused on providing a high level of customer service.
  • Other responsibilities as required on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
  • Must be a current Liberty University student
  • Must be able to work 12-18 hours per week
  • Available to work during the weekdays between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm M-F.
  • Must possess well-developed communications and critical thinking skills.

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled production setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate.
Driving Requirements
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one's personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee's position.
