Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Technical Writer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or related field with 4-12+ years of technical writing experience
  • Proficient in documentation tools (MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence)
  • Experience documenting software applications and technical systems
  • Knowledge of documentation standards {MIL-STD, DITA)
  • Capable of independently managing documentation projects

Duties:
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation including user guides, system documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Translates complex technical information into clear, concise documentation for various audiences.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.
