Job description

Operating CNC Form Grinding Machines, grinding high grade precision tooling to tight tolerances. This is for candidates with previous experience in Manufacturing and Machining. Training on Equipment is provided.
Shift: Four, 10-hour days
Day Shift Sun-Wed
Earn $22.00 - $26.00 /hr starting, Based on experience. Regular pay raises available. Ability to learn and Cross Train in multiple departments.
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Overtime
Weekends as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In Person, Orchard Park, New York 14127
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Scope of Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Grinding Machines.
Hold very precise tolerances.
Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve quality and reduce scrap.
Inspect inserts for both dimensional and visual defects.
Set up machines for production runs.
Learn and use conversational CNC programing.
Qualifications:
Good analytical ability.
Problem solving skills.
Great team working skills.
High school diploma or GED.
1 year in a production manufacturing environment
1 Year of Experience in CNC Machining or Completed/pursuing a degree or certificate course in related field. (preferred)
Experience with precision measuring equipment. (preferred)
Experience with reading and following instructions from CADD drawings and/or Job Travelers. (preferred)
