RWB is the preferred source for high-end pistons, engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, connecting rods, crankshafts, clutches, transmissions, springs and other engine and driveline- related performance components.ย 


Dart Machinery, a Race Winning Brands company in Warren, Michigan is seeking candidates for machine operators on first and second shift.ย 


Position Summary

Machine Operators are responsible for performing operations on assigned machines. This individual performs one or more of the following efficiently: operates production equipment; burrs machined products; inspects parts in process and finished goods; packages finished goods. Operates drill presses and other machines where complex setups, fixtures and tooling are furnished by others. May operate computer console. Uses simple measurement instruments to check work. Makes simple adjustments and notifies setter of the need for more complex tool or machine adjustments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup, hand load, change tools and toolsets.
  • Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Use designated measuring techniques for each part family.
  • Keep machinery and tooling in good working order.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
  • Communicate issues effectively to appropriate individuals.
  • Visual attention to detail to detect surface imperfections such as dings, dents, scratches, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.ย 
  • Must be able to consistently work second shift.ย 
  • 2-3 years' experience preferred with CNC equipment and/or experience in manufacturing environment. Will train employees with solid work history.ย 
  • Familiar with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, digital height stands, blueprints, analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be able to communicate with both management and non-management associates.ย
