What You'll Do

At Barcade®, our Line Cooks thrive in fast-paced kitchens where quality matters. They prepare food to the right recipe and right temperature, and in a timely fashion while upholding standards for health, sanitation, safety, and quality. 

Job Snapshot

  • Set up and stock your station with everything you need for smooth service 
  • Prepare food items to exact specifications, ensuring quality and consistency 
  • Work all stations, including fryer, grill, and sauté 
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, upholding Health Code standards at all times 
  • Coordinate with your teammates so dishes come out together, on time, and looking great 
  • Help stock and organize deliveries 
  • Jump in as needed with occasional dishwashing and kitchen upkeep 

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • At least 1 year of line cook experience in a full-service kitchen 
  • Solid understanding of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and quality standards 
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay cool under pressure, especially during busy nights 
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays 
  • Food Protection Certificate or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including remaining on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 60 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
