Job description

Machine Builder – 1st Shift

Waterville, OH
Pay: $20–$24/hour

Local Company is seeking skilled and mechanically inclined Machine Builders to join our team in Waterville, Ohio. This is a 1st shift opportunity with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

⚠️ Please note: This is not a Machine Operator role. We custom-build industrial furnaces from print to production and are looking for individuals who enjoy hands-on, technical work.


Position Summary

As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for assembling custom industrial furnaces and equipment according to engineering prints and specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience across multiple skilled trades.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble custom furnaces from detailed blueprints and schematics
  • Perform welding, fabrication, piping, and basic electrical work
  • Ensure builds meet quality and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete complex builds
  • Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during assembly

Qualifications

  • Experience in welding, fabrication, electrical work, and/or piping
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read prints/schematics
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders as needed

Interview Process

Candidates selected for interviews will be asked to:

  • Complete a ruler measurement test
  • Provide examples demonstrating their welding skills and knowledge
