Machine Builder: Caledonia, Illinois
Our customer in Caledonia, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Machine Builders to work full-time on 1st Shift. As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for mechanical assembly, machine assembly, routing cables and pneumatic lines, wiring motors, and ensuring all equipment is built to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities of the Machine Builder:
  • Mechanical sub-assembly of machinery.
  • Complete machine assembly according to specifications.
  • Route cables and pneumatic lines.
  • Label and terminate all incoming field wiring.
  • Wire 3-phase and single-phase motors.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Abide by all safety standards at all times.
  • Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized.
  • Strive to meet production quotas without compromising quality.
  • Hold yourself to a high standard of workmanship and quality.
  • Attend all required safety and production trainings.
  • Be available for overtime during high-volume seasons.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
Machine Builder Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of machine electrics and controls.
  • Understanding of AC and DC circuits.
