If you're a skilled builder who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and seeing a finished product come to life, this is the role for you.

As a Senior Machine Builder, you'll play a critical role in assembling and testing equipment that supports essential water and fluid-handling solutions around the world. This is more than repetitive assembly work-you'll work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems, interpret technical instructions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every product meets rigorous quality and safety standards.

Your experience and attention to detail will help deliver reliable equipment that customers depend on every day.

🛠 What You'll Be Doing

  • Assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components using detailed work instructions and specifications

  • Building standard and custom equipment configurations to meet customer requirements

  • Performing precision assembly utilizing hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring devices

  • Following assembly and testing procedures, including color coding, PVC thermal welding, thread sealing, and other manufacturing processes

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications

  • Verifying product quality and identifying potential issues before final production release

  • Completing required production, testing, and quality documentation

  • Supporting internal and external customer expectations through high-quality workmanship

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and workplace safety programs

  • Adhering to all company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements

📍 Where You'll Make an Impact

You'll be a key contributor within our manufacturing operations, helping deliver equipment that supports municipal, industrial, and commercial water systems worldwide.

Your work directly impacts product reliability, customer satisfaction, and Xylem's ability to provide innovative solutions for some of the world's most important water challenges.
