A day in the life:
  • Power Digital is looking for an Organic Social Media Strategy Intern to join our team! If you're eager to learn about the ever-changing social landscape and get your foot in the door with an incredible digital agency, this opportunity is for you. This is a hands-on internship where you'll have the opportunity to get real-world digital marketing experience in a fast-paced, super-fun environment. You'll learn the inner workings of social media platform strategy and how all of the moving pieces fit together to make a brand successful. The Organic Social Media Strategy Intern plays a pivotal role in supporting the Social team by actively participating in content calendar management and executing social media strategies. This role involves contributing creative ideas for social media posts, actively engaging on social media accounts, and learning to analyze social trends and analytics. If you're a quick learner with a positive attitude, then this is the perfect internship for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
  • Content Creation: Execute content calendars including copywriting, strategic planning, and creative ideation, aligning with the brand's voice and objectives
  • Brand Tone & Voice: Craft engaging and on-brand copy for social media posts, adhering to best practices for each platform
  • Analytics Monitoring: Regularly monitor social media performance using analytics tools, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance strategies
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and content decisions
  • Collaborative Contribution: Actively participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and project coordination to contribute creative ideas and insights
  • Autonomous Workflow: Manage workload efficiently, working independently to ensure tasks and projects are completed on time and in line with client or brand objectives

Role Requirements:
  • Social media experience working across multiple social channels (Including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google My Business)
  • Working toward or recently received a Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and reliability
  • Strong writing and grammar skills
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute to an evolving department in San Diego's second-fastest-growing company
