SUMMARY
The primary purpose of Counter Sales is to help guests locate or order the items they need for home improvements. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Knoebel Lumber Manager.
Regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8AM-4PM/9AM-5PM) are typical. During park operational season weekend hours may be required for assistance with key events and promotional executions. We want you to enjoy a work-life balance, so you will be expected to take time for yourself when weekend/evening hours are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve customers, help them locate products
  • Answering questions and quoting prices in response to telephone inquiries
  • Process payments and handle money responsibly
  • Be familiar with the inventory items and their locations
  • Stock materials in the proper locations and keep shelves visual appealing
  • Always adhere to safety and fire regulations
  • Perform the function of unloading, storing incoming shipments of merchandise
  • Maintain the equipment in a clean, serviceable condition
  • Learn and use proper material handling techniques to reduce damaged to materials
  • Assist in other areas as needed and perform duties asked of you by your department manager

  • Candidate must have a current valid driver's license
