Job description

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Lumber Handlers for a Lumber Company in Huntland, TN. This is a Temp/Contract job. Apply now!
Duties for this position include:

Lumber Handling: Load, unload, stack, and organize lumber products.
Sorting and Storing: Sort lumber by size, grade, and type; stack and store materials in designated areas for easy access and organization.
Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment; use appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) as required.
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Compensation (USD):

2nd Shift
$17.25/hour
Schedule:

2nd Shift
Monday - Friday
3:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in a lumber yard, sawmill, or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials, ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Safety Conscious: Must adhere to safety standards and wear required safety equipment.
Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions
